Public awareness of (as well as practical solutions for) the serious problem of energy consumption, and particularly energy waste, in the building and construction is something relatively new to the majority of the world. Only in recent years have there been a significant amount of studies as to our carbon footprint, how much we effect our environment, the amount of energy we consume, and realistic proposals for different solutions. Therefore, any good solution in this area should be observed with attention and supported whenever possible.
